Shareefa Buksh

Shareefa Buksh is registered as an Audiology Australia Accredited Audiologist. Her first exposure to the world of audiology took place during her undergraduate degree, specifically when she began learning about the human sensory systems. Consequently, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) with a double major in Human Pathology and Physiology from Monash University. As Shareefa had developed an interest in the auditory sensory system, she knew she had to pursue a career that combined this interest with her passion to help people and use cutting edge technology to empower them to become more confident in their daily lives.

She went on to graduate with a Master of Clinical Audiology from The University of Melbourne with her research project thesis focusing on examining the impact of classroom environment, specifically open plan versus enclosed, on auditory comprehension and academic progress in primary school-aged children. Within the audiology industry, Shareefa has a genuine interest in paediatric diagnostic, as well as adult diagnostic, rehabilitation and tinnitus management.
